Chef Brian
Celebrity chef, Brian Hill, from Bravo’s hit series, “Top Chef”, is cooking up food and lifestyle favorites that are nothing short of fantastic. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Chef Brian made his start as a personal chef by catering parties for friends as a way to make extra money. Word quickly spread of his innovative and flavorful dishes, and in little time celebrities including Eddie Murphy, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and Mekhi Phifer were knocking on his door.
Chef Brian's talent for combining exotic herbs and flavors in ways that maximize the flavor of food, makes him a hit with everyone who tastes his cuisine. He has worked in small cafes, four-star restaurants and grand hotels in Washington, DC, Miami Beach, and Beverly Hills and his culinary experience spans over 20 years. His specialties include Classic American, Euro and Caribbean cuisine.
Chef Brian moved to Southern California in January 2002, and worked as a personal chef for Eddie Murphy, Mariah Carey and, most recently, Chef Brian spent 2 years as a personal chef for Mary J. Blige, the queen of hip-hop soul. He has also cooked for other celebrities such as Sean P. Diddy Combs, actor Mehki Phifer, R&B duo Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore, and World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Lennox Lewis, who hired Brian for his Los Angeles private post-championship fight dinner in June of 2003.
Chef Brian will be on a new show premiering on the Food Network in December, 2009. Chef Brian was featured live on the red carpet for E! Entertainment’s Golden Globe Awards, seen by 22 million people, the KTLA Morning Show, and Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” In February 2009, Chef Brian was named one of Hollywood’s Top Ten Most Eligible Bachelors by Access Hollywood and TV One with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx, and was featured on TV One Access where he cooked for Tatyana Ali. Chef Brian is creating a line of Chef Brian’s Original Sauces, Dressings and Side Dishes for the chef in every home.
